I am an entrepreneur and an angel investor. Yet I chose to become homeless in Europe in order to experience the floor of life if both entrepreneurship and investing were to completely fail.

At 2 AM in Prague, I went into a McDonald's, talking for hours with a homeless woman who had once engaged in sex work. Her story wasn't complicated: just money, choices, and a shrinking set of possibilities, to the point where she could no longer afford even the makeup she needed for clients. But when I asked her name and shook her hand, she paused for a moment and then smiled.

That smile made me realize something: what is truly scarce is not resources, but the opportunity to be truly seen by others. The same applies in the BCI industry.

In the US, I built NeuroBase, a startup building the data infra of Neuro-AI by generating highly physiologically plausible EEG data. I targeted BCI startups working on machine learning. And I ran into a surprising problem. I couldn't find them.

Most visible BCI companies had been started 5+ years ago. Early-stage founders building at the brain-machine boundary were scattered — isolated from each other, rarely seen, rarely challenged by peers who understood the same hardware constraints, regulatory path, and scientific rigor.

Building the data infra is not enough, I should also build the people infra, a place where early-stage BCI founders could find each other, pressure-test each other's work, and be taken seriously before they were already proven.

That realization became WorldChangers.

We run a BCI startup accelerator:

At most 10 early-stage companies per batch — curated founder community, 1-1 mentorship, and optional proprietary NeuroData and capital when they help.

We curate BCI startups by looking at:

  • Team quality and domain depth
  • The problem you are solving at the brain–machine boundary
  • Technical feasibility — signal, hardware, software
  • Existing traction or credible validation path
  • Regulatory and structural readiness
  • Long-term vision for the field

We filter out a majority of startups that apply. What remains is a small set worth taking seriously.
